ÖLÜDENIZ FAQ
AIRPORT FOR ÖLÜDENIZ
The best airport to access the beautiful bay of Ölüdeniz is Dalaman Airport.
TRANSFER DALAMAN
If you are a group of pilots, we recommend arriving at the airport at the same time in order to share the taxi fare from Dalaman Airport to Ölüdeniz Bay.
Once your registration is confirmed, we will put you in contact with the person in charge of the transfer.
Please note that HTF will cover the taxi transfer if there are at least three pilots sharing the taxi.
ACCOMMODATION
You can contact us for information about apartments or a villa suitable for 2 to 4 people.
Alternatively, there are multiple hotels available near the landing area.
All relevant details will be provided in a PDF document.
LICENSE
In Ölüdeniz, pilots are required to carry their license at all times. A photo of your license is needed to create an account for takeoff access, so please ensure you have it with you. An IPPI card license is accepted, and local licenses are also valid.
INSURANCE
It is essential that you have adequate medical and repatriation insurance coverage. Please check your policy carefully to ensure that it:
- is valid for the entire duration of your stay with us,
- covers paragliding activities,
- valid for the location booked.
Before the course begins, we will require a copy of your insurance details to ensure everyone’s safety. If you do not have valid insurance coverage, you will not be granted a place on the course, and no refund will be issued.
Please bring a copy of your insurance policy for our records.
ACCESS TO TAKE OFF
Access to the takeoff requires payment for both the cable car and the takeoff site fee.
You will need cash or a card with you for each flight.
PERMISSION FLIGHT
Flights must be opened and closed by creating an account on the following website or app:
After opening a flight, you will receive a QR code that must be presented at the cable car office to pay the takeoff access fee.
Don’t worry, the process is not complicated. Everything will be clearly explained in the PDF you will receive and again during the first briefing.
LIFE JACKETS
We provide a life vest designed to keep you safely afloat, even while wearing all your paragliding gear.
Safety and progression are our priorities. We cover the replacement of the COâ‚‚ cartridge in your life vest, so you can focus on enjoying your flight safely.
RADIO
Radios will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own radio, as well as your own earphones (such as AirPods or Shokz), which offer a modern and effective way to communicate and have already proven successful.
PHONE
We suggest getting an eSIM and setting it up before your trip. Airalo has been tested in Ölüdeniz and provides a reliable connection.
LAKE GARDA FAQ
SHUTTLE
From the landing site, you can either walk 2.5 km along the lake or take a local taxi or tourist bus. The cost is €3 per person, regardless of the option. The bus stop is conveniently located just above the paragliding landing, and all options will bring you directly to the cable car.
CABLECAR
Cable car tickets are not included in the course price and can be purchased online or directly at the ticket office. Online tickets are €2 cheaper than those bought at the ticket office.
You can purchase your tickets here: Funivia Malcesine.
ACCOMMODATION
There are two meeting points: at the landing site or at the cable car station. You’re free to travel at your own pace, but we recommend staying near these spots to make your journey easier.
For accommodation, we suggest Camping Tonini, the closest option to the landing site, which offers both campsites and apartments.
Alternatively, you can also stay at Hotel Ideal.
